Hi, my name is Ashley! I’m a traditional media cartoonist and art teacher based in central New Jersey (aka the part that no one believes exists unless you live there).
I’ve been making comics professionally since graduating from Pratt Institute in 2013, and teaching art programs for all ages since 2023. You may know my work from tabletop games and various anthology publications - or my Gothic horror webcomic, Obelisk, which I've published independently since 2017.
My artwork focuses on people at odds with the world they live in, and the roles they’re expected to inhabit. I make comics about queer and gender-nonconforming women, outsiders, and monsters with dark appetites, most often navigating historical periods that directly reflect our modern lives and times.
